CWFO started in 2006 as a private joke that has since gone far too far. Originally titled Comandante Watch/Footie Update, our name has changed to keep up with the changing times, and to more accurately reflect what we do. Footie Outpouring is dedicated to providing balanced views on world football (with a target of no more than 33% Arsenal-fixated content), and to keeping an eye on the words and wisdom of el Compañero en Jefe, Fidel Castro.
